[Posted by Sarah] Now is the long drive home. By now we knew we had about 3 1/2 hours of actual driving per day for a total of about 5 to 6 hours of time door to door due to stops. About half of that would need to be timed to Joshua's nap (either in the morning or afternoon) and the other half would occur while he was awake and being entertained almost constantly by his brother or the parent in the passenger seat. So that meant we had three days of driving still ahead of us.
Today we went from Livingston, Montana to Missoula, Montana. We had so enjoyed our time in Missoula and we also had a wicker basket of snacks and other supplies we needed to pick up from the homestead. We got a suite at Staybridge Suites and checked in early so we could lounge in the room and swim in the pool - we did plenty of both.
The next day we would try to get back into Washington state....
